In Boneographies Drawing, lines are extracted from your X-ray, MRI, or CT scan and redrawn into a new composition. The original image disappears, leaving the structure of your body carried in line.  

Each Boneographies Drawing is a unique work on paper. The process originates in Lilia Ziamou’s series Digital Twins: Bones as Flesh; in 2025, Drawing: Research, Theory, Practice devoted a visual essay to the series.
